Knocked Up movie review
I was able to watch Knocked Up on DVD with my wife last weekend.
It stars Seth Rogen (40 yr. old virgin, supporting cast) who is a big time bum and slacker and Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy) who’s more of a career oriented woman who works for E!. Anyway, after being promoted at work, Alison (Heigl) decided to party out at a club where she met Ben (Stone). Fast forward a few minutes, they both got drunk and had unprotected sex.
The real story begins when Alison started having morning sickness and how she copes up with the fact that she’s pregnant a few weeks after getting promoted and realizing that the father is an unattractive bum.
So what can I say about the movie? Mehhh. It’s ok for a stay-at-home movie the point that we don’t mind pausing it lots of time just to order and eat pizza. Be warned though that there’s a huge helping of the “F” word on it if you decide to watch it with kids around. Not to mention a scene where “crowning” is involved. Yuck.
Verdict: Just rent it if you really want to watch it. 3 out of 5 stars.
