Whew! What a tiring leg of the race. But still the number 1 team is Marc & Rovilson and they each won a Sony HD cam!! WOoHooo! And as usual, they’re the most amusing and funny team. Close behind, Adrian & Collin are still number 2. Must be frustrating for both of them to always come in second for the nth time.

As expected, Henry & Terri were the last team to arrive and therefore eliminated. But it was a very close race between them and Paula & Natasha, whom I really feel sorry for. I’ll explain the details later on.

Ok, first task is to get to Prague by train then climb and count the number of steps of a tower. All the teams except for Henry and Terri (wayyyy behind) got there almost at the same time. The Malaysian Moms and the Singaporeans got an edge though when they googled for the number of steps on an internet shop while waiting for the train.

Marc & Rovilson reached the top first and got the correct answer followed by the Singaporeans, Pam & Vanessa and the Malaysian Moms. Paula & Natasha were not that lucky though when they have to go up and down the tower thrice before getting the right answer.

Next task is to row a boat to search for the clue on a lake. Adrian & Collin’s taxi got there first and Marc & Rovilson were about 10 minutes behind. Fortunately, the Singaporeans don’t know how to row effectively. Each of them grabbed hold of a paddle and tried paddling at the same time. Rovilson however, rowed the boat all by himself while Marc guided him. They breezed by the lake and closed the gap between them and the Singaporeans.

The next task is an Intersection. For those of you who don’t know, in an intersection, a team must wait and pair up with another team of their choice to perform tasks until they are instructed to split up again. This means that whoever is left will have to wait for Henry and Terri to join them.

First team to reach the Intersection point was Adrian & Collin and they chose to team up with Marc & Rovilson who came in second. Marc & Rovilson quickly realized that Pam & Van can wait for Paula & Natasha so that will leave Anne & Dianne to wait for Henry & Terri.

Bad Decision

However, Pam & Van aren’t too quick to realize that strategy. They just decided to pair up with whoever they saw at the intersection first and that was the Malaysian Moms. Poor Paula & Natasha, they arrived at the intersection shortly after but they have to wait 5 freakin’ hours for Henry & Terri. Sucks to be them and I wonder what they would say to Pam & Van when they see them at the Pit Stop.

The next task is for the paired up teams to go to a hockey rink and shoot some pucks. Nothing special happened here and the boys are still up front.

The next task is a Detour, wherein the teams either have to go to historical landmarks around the city and shoot them with a camera or deliver 2 heavy kegs of beer.

The boys chose to deliver the kegs which they accomplished without any problem. The girls tried their luck in taking pictures of landmarks around the city but got lost instead. Pam & Van are clearly unhappy being teamed up with the bossy moms. Anyhow, they decided to do the other task instead.

After this task, it’s time to split the teams again and perform a Road Block where a team member have to jump in a pool from a diving board 10 meters above.

Marc & Rovilson were able to secure a taxi first and were the first ones to get to the pool. Rovilson took the plunge and nearly got his shorts pulled down by the impact because he’s not wearing any belt. Hehehe. Adrian & Collin are really close behind that they even caught up with Marc & Rovilson still waiting for a cab outside.

Next is the Pit Stop

Tight race still for the 1st two teams. Marc & Rovilson were able to hail a cab first but the driver didn’t know how to get to the pit stop. The Singaporeans are really close behind but Marc & Rovilson still prevailed! Base!!!

By this time, Paula & Natasha were finally able to team up with Henry & Terri who were surprised to see another team at this point of the race. They started breezing through the tasks since Paula & Natasha were able to familiarize themselves with the place while waiting for Henry & Terri.

Short-term memory loss

In the meantime, something freaky happened to Vanessa when she took the plunge that caused them 3rd place. She kinda leaned forward as she dropped to the pool and the impact on her head might have affected her short term memory. After leaving the pool, she kept telling Pam that she forgot what she just did. She even asked about the clue box and wondered if they took the clue already which they did. Freaky! Hope she’s alright. Really nice of Pam to be worried for her sister instead of rushing her to complete the race.

Fight to the finish

Henry & Terri were the first to arrived at the pool so Henry was able to jump first followed closely by Natasha. Outside the building, Henry & Terri saw an idling taxi but they were turned down by the driver who seems to be either taking a break or waiting for somebody so they went to look for another taxi somewhere.

Paula & Natasha saw the same taxi and were turned down as well. However, since they were more persuasive than Henry & Terri, they were able to hire the cab in exchange for more money which is a fair deal considering that the last team to arrive will be eliminated.

They zoomed past Henry & Terri who were still waiting for a taxi on to secure the 5th spot. Henry & Terri were the last team to arrive and at last, eliminated.

Hope Paula & Natasha can still catch up on the next leg even if they’re a few hours behind the others. And I also hope that they would forgive Pam & Van for the decision they made on the intersection.
