Ramiele Malubay made it to the Top 10
Fil-am American Idol contestant Ramiele Malubay made the Final 10 despite not performing well with her rendition of “I Should Have Known Better“.
Week after week I’m hoping that she can wow the audience as well as the judges but she kept disappointing. I’m just glad that her racy photos circulating the internet doesn’t have a negative effect on her popularity.
It was Beatles week again by the way and I think that was a bad idea as most of the contestants have nothing new to offer singing their songs. At least David Archuleta redeemed himself with his performance of “A Long and Winding Road“.
The shock of the elimination night probably was Carly Smithson being part of the bottom three who was joined by Kristy Lee Cook, for the millionth time, and Amanda Overmyer. Another shocking thing was Kristy being saved yet again by her fans thus eliminating Amanda. I guess a pretty face can go a long way in Idol despite a mediocre voice.

Amanda ROCKS! kaya nga ata na eliminate, di pang general public and charisma (which is too bad really)…. rocker chick na 22-year old nurse. her personality’s as contrasting as her hair color. but she’s really got talent, and she can work up the crowd. and it’s amazing how a 22-year-old can have a voice like that. between her and Carly, I’d go for Amanda. yun nga lang, mas pang GP ang Carly. popularity contest nga ang American Idol…on Ramiel, i hope she changes her hairstyle soon. halos di mo makita mukha nya. siya na nga pinaka maliit, ni hindi mo pa makita mukha. try kaya niya mag ponytail
Problem kay Amanda parang one-dimensional eh. Rocker nga pero hindi kaya ng rocker ballad songs unlike si david cook. it’s her voice, you can’t do much variety with that raspy voice. maybe she started smoking since age 4 to get that voice hehehe.
Why is Ramiele holding back her ‘big’ voice? Pansin ko parang pigil yung pagkanta nya, although her voice really sounds good kahit hindi birit. I hope she makes a stand out performance this week. She’s in danger of being overshadowed and edged out by the other contestants.
sa tingin ko kabado pa rin. mukhang di kasi sya nageenjoy and parang di confident sa pagkanta eh. or baka strategy yun, pag natira na lang yung magagaling, yung tipong feeling nya sya next na matatanggal tsaka sya babanat. para masurprise yung mga tao. hehehe.
