David Cook’s take on Mariah Carey’s Always Be My Baby
If you don’t follow this season’s American Idol regularly, this is one performance that you shouldn’t miss. David Cook is what makes the competition exciting as he continues to do risky rendition of popular songs that works really well for him.
This time it was Mariah’s Always Be My Baby, a girl pop song that he transformed into something that a male artist can really perform. You should see it to better understand what I’m saying.
Paula was right. It can be part of a movie soundtrack. I was imagining that it could easily replace the song “How Do I Live” in Con-Air.

I would say that David Cook will be one of the finalist for this season and could win the whole thing as well.
