Touring Sorsogon Without a Car Part 1: Our Plan
Donsol, Sorsogon is the southernmost part of Luzon and is home to whale sharks during the months of February to May.
My wife and I decided to go swimming with the whale sharks on April 2007 then tour parts of Sorsogon afterwards. We spent 4 days and 5 nights for the trip.
Our plan was to board a plane to Legaspi City, which is the capital of Albay then head straight to Donsol, Sorsogon where we will spend the night. The following day we went to Rizal Beach in Gubat, Sorsogon where we spent 2 nights to swim in the beach and visit the sights around the area. Then we went back to Legaspi City for a night to buy souvenirs and visit the famous Cagsaua Ruins before heading back via plane.
Next part would be on how to get to Donsol and our firefly encounter.
Note: Fare price will have most likely increase due to the constant increase of fuel cost.
