Battle of the Kids in Britain’s Got Talent
First there was the bullied chorister, Andrew Johnston (13). Then came the wonder boy British-Filipino jazz singer, Charlie Green (10). And now, it’s the 12 year old opera singing kid, Faryl Smith’s turn to wow the judges.
Unbelievable huh? That she’s that big but is only 12 years old. Hehehe. Just kidding. Her voice was pretty amazing and it seems unlikely to come out of a kid.
Seems like this season’s finals will be swarmed by really talented kids. The grown-ups will really have a difficult time competing with the little ones. They have the charm, the “oh-so-cute-kid” factor and the talent to boot as well. If the fans had a hard time choosing between Connie and Paul Potts last year, they will have a harder time this season.

calvin: sana semis na para magkaalaman na hehehe.
12 lang ba talaga siya????
calvin: hehe pansin mo rin? mukhang 16 nga eh.
Faryl doesn’t just sing opera - go to http://www.masqueradechoir.co.uk & look at the video gallery, there’s a piece on there where Faryl sings the solo.
I knew it!! Her voice really does fit songs from the Sound of Music even before I heard her sing Edelweiss. She really has a grown-up voice.
Here’s the link of her singing Edelweiss. The sound quality’s not that good though.
Thanks Stu for the link!
It’s going to be one of these kids that will win the show….
calvin: I agree!
12 lang yan…look at her teeth
so hindi pwede mga teenager magkaroon ng ganyang teeth?
the present teeth in her mouth indicates her age…kapag 16 all the permanent teeth have erupted…sa kanya madami pang patubo pa lang na permanent teeth…look at her canines and premolars…
