Do you really need another credit card?
You already have a couple of credit cards which you’ve been using for a few years, do you really need another one? Before you immediately say no, keep in mind the advantages of having another card or even replacing your old card with a new one.
Just like shops or restaurants, healthy competition results from the increasing number of credit card companies. They would try to outdo each other in trying to get you to do business with them. Newer credit cards will have better perks and incentives such as better reward programs, cash backs, rebates, gifts, etc.
So what should you do with your old card? Well, you could either cut it loose or just continue using it. The important thing is your good credit history information. Credit card companies checks your total credit history (the lengthier, the better) and will offer you lower rates and fees for a new card.
The important thing is to know what you are doing. I always suggest to do a bit of research first. Credit-Land.com is a very informative site if you’re planning to look for another Visa Card or if one is being offered to you.
Ultimately, you have the choice to reject or accept a credit card offer. Just be wise in using you card.
