Pierce, Garnett, Allen finally got one
The Boston Celtics won the 2007-2008 NBA title in 6 games against the LA Lakers in a blowout game, 131-92. I am a Lakers fan (Kobe actually) but I wanted the Celtics to win this season for the sake of the Big Three (Pierce, Garnett and Allen). A rematch is probable next season anyway.

After a very long wait, Paul Pierce (10 years), Kevin Garnett (13 years) and Ray Allen (12 years) were finally hailed as NBA champions and avoided joining Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Elgin Baylor and a lot of other superstars who never received a championship ring.
How about Sam Cassell? Lucky guy. Winning an NBA title as a rookie with the Olajuwon-led Houston Rockets then won another one this season when he’s close to retiring.
I think the real lucky charm would be James Posey. He was a key bench player when the Miami Heat won their championship and he also played an important role for the Celtics during the post season. Sorta like an upgraded version Bruce Bowen. Hehehe.

i like pj brown too. he was with the bulls last year and thought he was the only one trying to win the 2nd round of the playoffs… bulls against detroit i think? anyway, this is his 15th yr in the nba and his first title too. just when his career is winding down. he actually didn’t start this season and only joined the celtics in march. but i’m sure you know all that. hehehe:)
hehe thanks for mentioning pj brown. he really came through against the lakers. seldomly used sya during the early rounds of the playoffs pero doc rivers trusted him to back up garnett. ok naman sya and i remember yung mga key baskets nya sa games 1 and 2.
