Batman acting gay
If you’ve already seen Dark Knight, would you ever think that there was a time that they made Batman a bit gay-ish? I mean with him and Robin running around town, comic writers can’t help but put in some cheesy lines between them.
According to my comic-aficionado friend, Dodge, there was a time when comics and super heroes lost its appeal so they tried to write stories that would somehow compete with the romance novels in those days. Or maybe they just want to tackle the issue of homosexuality in the superhero / supervillain world? This happened during the 1950′s and 1960′s. What were those people smoking at that time?
Check out some of this strips from the early comics with Batman on it.

Why were they thinking about lubrication anyway?

Ok that's it!
Do you think Christian Bale or Chris O’ Donnell would want to portray batman again if they wrote a script like for the movies? Would you like to watch a Batman movie with such cheesy lines? I guess there was a lot of love going on during those times that they were able to write and approve these comics.
* Got some of the pics from an e-mail by the way. Thanks Migs.

Considering Christian Bale actually is homosexual in real life he probably wouldn’t mind it one bit.

picked this up on some forum regarding the Rainbow Batman on the first image. Here’s the reason why he has to wear different colored Batman costumes each night.
“After Dick (Robin) Grayson saves a little girl from an onrushing car — injuring his arm in the process — his daring rescue is reported in all of Gotham City’s media. Soon after, Batman is seen in public wearing a strange assortment of gaudily colored costumes. By the story’s end, it’s explained to the reader that Batman’s motive for his new wardrobe was merely to distract people from noticing that Robin had also sustained the same injury, thereby saving his secret identity!”
hehehe, those pink tights on batman could sure make people do a double take. hehehe.
