hehe thanks for the adding something to the list Emily. maybe because we have easier access to news (tv, internet, etc.) kaya naging mas-aware na tayo sa mga things that we weren't aware of before. kaya mas takot mga tao ngayon.

Apparently we've tried to scare ourselves into thinking that:
1-Tap water is evil and you die from it (apparently the 90s and the 80s were abberations).
2-Kids need constant computer stimuli or they will be left behind - forever. (apparently learning to use the MS Office sweet and internet can not wait until you're in school.)
3-Everyone is scary. Kids should stay inside. (uhm....we played outside and no one that I know of was kidnapped.)
4-Children should be watched and scheduled every second of the day.

Crazy
-No more play dates...only play. Let boys be boys and girls be girls. Just let them play. Don't put tv's in bedrooms. And don't put computers in bedrooms.
-Everything a kid can learn to be successful on a computer in school can't be learned in under a month.
