Searchme Visual Search is purely eyecandy
If you were impressed on the sleek Cover Flow feature used in iPhones and iPod to display music album covers, you might want to check out Searchme Visual Search. It is a pretty cool search engine that displays a screenshot of sites included in its search result in a Cover Flow manner.
So when I tried searching for “Ilocos Tour”, my site popped up. Take a look.
But the problem is that the screenshot was taken a long time ago when I was still using a different theme on my blog. I can’t even see my Touring Ilocos page, they just higihlighted the search text found on my sidebar.
Well Searchme is still in beta so you can’t expect it to show accurate results. It’s pretty neat seeing my old site included in its database though.
It’s awesome at first but nothing can beat the 0.12 seconds it took Google to give me better search results.
