Why do I need to know my credit score?
First, what is a credit score and what’s it used for? Your score is a figure which lenders use to evaluate financial risk. If you have a poor score, you’ll have less chances of getting a card.
But why do I need another card? Whenever somebody offers me a card, I always turn them down. Two cards are enough for me. I don’t even use my card for loans and I always pay the full amount and on time as well. So why do I need to know my credit score?

I guess there will come a time that we would really be needing a big credit to purchase a car or even a house. Who knows? Being the head of the family, I should acquaint myself to such matters. I guess I need the highest score as I could possibly achieve all throughout my credit history.
I did some researching on the net and came across this site called www.creditreportingonline.com where you can safely check your score online from nationwide credit bureaus. The site also has a boatload of info that you need to achieve a good credit score, bouncing back from a bad score, card fraud and ways to get the card that you want.
Really something that you should hang on to if you ever find yourself in debt or needing a big credit.
