If you’ve been invited to be on Oprah for the second time this year you know you’re someone special. That’s what happened to our very own Charice Pempengco who’s dream came true thanks to Oprah and David Foster.

The video shows a brief background on how Charice got invited on Oprah for the first time. She also participated on David Foster’s live concert in Last Vegas last May. You’ll see Charice having fun with Josh Groban and Michael Buble backstage.

She was also personally invited by Andrea Bocelli to sing with him in Italy to celebrate his birthday. She also showed the place where she grew up and recounts the obstacles during her childhood.

After singing My Heart Will Go On with David Foster on the piano, Oprah had Celine Dion call in. Celine asked Charice if she would like to sing a duet with her on her concert in Madison Square Garden next week.

It was funny how shocked and speechless Charice was when she saw Celine on the screen talking to her. Brought tears to her eyes.

With David Foster backing her, we’ll have another world class talent in the making. Last one we had I think is Lea Salonga and that was a long time ago. Just stay humble and continue to impress the world on what a Filipino can do Charice!
