My site went down for hours!
This is the first time my site went down under my new host, A Small Orange, and it was down for about 3 hours. Ouch! Unfortunately, they don’t have 24-hour support so it took around 45 minutes before they were able to work on my complaint.
Apparently, one of the site in the same server as mine has been hogging the resources that caused the whole server to shut down (along with all the sites it is hosting). They suspended the problematic account and will be monitoring the server. If this keeps on, I’ll have to ask them to switch my site on a more stable server.
This is what you get for paying for cheap hosting. Hehehe. More people are crammed into a server and one of them is bound to make a mistake with their database that will bring the whole server down.
I hope this won’t happen anymore (or too often) or else I’ll have to look for another host. Sorry for the inconvenience folks.

Good to know you’re back on line. I was wondering where you’ve gone to. I tried accessing your site (i think 5 times yata) but to no avail. I even thought that something is wrong with my DSL.
