Ateneo Bonfire Prank
Most of you know that in the recently concluded UAAP Men’s Basketball, ADMU beat DLSU in the Finals 2-0. Frankly as a LaSallian, I’m not that disappointed since I know that we were already lucky to have reached the Finals. It’s just not our year and Ateneo have really, really good players on their roster.
Anyway during the Ateneo victory party, they lit up a bonfire with the names of DLSU players painted on the woodpiles.
Is that supposed to be funny or amusing? C’mon guys, you just swept us in the Finals. You just showed us how outclassed we were against you this year. You’re the champions.
Way to go champs!

Dear Bro. Armin,
I would like to extend my deepest apology to you and to the La Sallian community for what some alumnus or student did at the Ateneo Bonfire, namely, write the names of the La Salle players on the wood. Unfortunately, none of us saw it ahead of time, because the wood pile was covered by a tarp against the rain until the time came to light it.
Despite our rivalries in sports, we are both committed to Christian values and what was done is certainly a violation of values we share.
Once again, my deepest apologies to you and to the La Sallian community. We are trying to find out who is responsible for the act.

hay~~~ i really don’t like ateneo in this basketball rivalry because they’re so full of arrogance. i always wish that la salle win. unfortunately they didn’t and ateneo still showed a bad sportsmanship despite being the champions

I like UAAP better than PBA so I get to follow the rivalry between ADMU and DLSU.
As to the bonfire thing it sort of suck. It is just basketball, why kill just because of it. Burning symbolizes a desire to kill.

It’s just a game. I know that you have to play the game with your heart. But it doesn’t mean “fight” as in “away”.
Come on!!! This is sports.
How uneducated!!!! And their graduates are receiving a lot of perks and big salaries even with no experience at all.
Funny na nakakaasar. I hope Ateneo students to feel sorry for what their schoolmates had done.
