Flatshare, a very cool refrigerator
Flatshare is a very cool refrigerator design which won the Electrolux Design Lab 2008 competition. Stephan Buchberger from Austria won the competition with his modular fridge concept.
Basically, the fridge consists of a base and four stackable modules that can allow four individuals to have their own fridge space. Perfect for dorms where some people can’t seem to care if the fridge is already dirty or full of spoiled leftovers. Each of the modules have handles so you can easily take your own fridge if you decide to move out.
Cool huh? Too bad it’s still a concept. It would also be nice if you can also lock your module to protect your food from fridge thieves.
I wonder who would want to volunteer to take the bottom slot of the fridge.
