Michael Crichton dies at the age of 66
Yeah, I also can’t believe it that one of the greatest writers of fiction of all time is already dead. The man who brought us Jurassic Park died unexpectedly last Nov. 4 after a private battle against cancer.

Michael Crichton 1942 - 2008
He’s one of my favorite author since high school with “Congo” being his first book that I read. No, I wasn’t in high school in 1980 when Congo was released. I was just curious about the book when I saw the movie version of it.
After that, I read his older works (Andromeda Strain, Terminal Man, Great Train Robbery, Eaters of the Dead, etc.) then continued to follow whatever books he brought out with the last being “Next”. He has another yet-untitled book that will be published posthumously next year.
Sigh, one less author for me to follow.
RIP Mr. Crichton
