Which side of the bed should your spouse sleep on?

When my wife and I were still newlyweds, we got into thinking on which side of the bed should each of us sleep. Right or left?
Some people say that the wife should be on the right side to signify that she’s the right-hand person of the husband. However, some people say that the wife should be on the left side of the husband to symbolize her being close to her man’s heart.
So what do you think?
Well for us, my wife sleeps on my left side. Why? It’s because it’s nearer the light switch so she gets the task of turning off the light. Hehehe.

left or right…i usually sleep on the side where it’s nearest to the door.
