Anoop is out! Michael Sarver is in! Surprise surprise.

So our first three Top 12 contestants are Alexis Grace, Michael Sarver and Danny Gokey.

What’s with AI for killing the suspense even before halfway through the show?

Shortly after they announced that Alexis Grace made it, they called in Anoop Desai and Michael Sarver. They should’ve revealed who will make it between the two at the end of the show instead. When Ryan announced the Michael is in then obviously the last spot will go to Danny Gokey.

Anyhow there’s still a “Wild Card” episode a week after the 3rd group wherein the judge will give another chance to deserving contestants who didn’t make it in the Top 12. Surely, Anoop will be on that group.

Some random things

• Based on her performance last night, Stevie Wright has no chance on being in the Wild Card. Well at least she got the experience and I won’t be surprised if she audition again next year.
• Why do they have to show a picture of Danny and his deceased wife in camera? It’s too much already and I think people will vote less if they keep on reminding us that he’s wife just died.
• I can’t believe it but somehow I feel sorry for Tatiana. I hope she’ll make it in the “Wild Card”.
