Francis Magalona dies at the age of 44
Just got word that master rapper Francis M. passed away today at Medical City. His friends in Eat Bulaga were in a somber mood today on their show while a short tribute to him was aired.
Francis Magalona 10/4/1964 - 3/6/2009
Francis Magalona was diagnosed with leukemia in August last year but requested for privacy so we didn’t get to hear much about it in the news. He left a wife and eight childen as well as hundreds of friends and millions of fans.
He recently collaborated with Ely Buendia and other OPM artists for an album dubbed as “The Sickos Project.” Hmm, tomorrow is the Eraserheads concert and I wonder how this news will affect Ely. Remember that his mom died the day before their concert last year.
Francis was supposed to be a surprise guest for tomorrow’s Eraserheads concert. According to the group, they’re going to sing Superproxy as their first song and Francis will do the rap portion near the end. They say that their concert will also be a tribute to Francis.
