Game and Watch games for your iPod Touch
If you grew up in the 80’s I’m sure you’ve played those classic black and white Game and Watch games such as Octopus and Parachute. Well, you can relive those memories with your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Mobile1Up developed the Game and Watch classic series for the iPod. You can tilt your iPod Touch or press the bottom left and right corner of the screen to control your character. These games started portable gaming and should be in your iPod.
Unfortunately, it was discontinued upon Nintendo’s request so you won’t be able to see them in iTunes anymore. Now Appulo.us is back, I found 5 of the 6 Game and Watch games developed and can enjoy playing them on the go.
In case Appulo.us goes down again or you can’t find it in their site, I uploaded them in my Ziddu account (click on the image to download). Each file is less than 500kb.
Make sure you jailbreak your device before you can play these games. To put these games on your iPod Touch, just follow this guide.

can you give us a quick step by step guide on how to install these games please?
whoops, here’s the link
its nice to see these games live on – but we did re-release them with new graphics and renamed all the games. the game play is exactly the same and you can actually support future development by buying them.
Say folks, I have (in a drawer somewhere) what we used to call “bouncing babies”, where you had to catch the babies jumping out of the burning building on one side and bounce them across to safety on the other side. Addictive. I also have the parachute game. Do you have the “bouncing babies” version to play on the Itouch? (or the same thing only different) Good job folks, glad to see these games resurected.
