How to create an account in iTunes without a credit card
Some people who owns an iPod don’t have credit cards but they want to download those free offerings from the iTunes store. Unfortunately, if you sign in for an account the typical way, you need to provide a payment method.
There’s a way though where you can create an iTunes account without supplying a credit card. Just follow these steps:
1. Head to the iTunes store and select any of those FREE APPS. I’m going to select the Supermarket Mania FREE edition.
2. Click the Get App button.
3. A popup window appears asking you to sign in. Click Create New Account.
4. Just follow the on-screen instructions in creating an account till you reach the Payment Method page.
Notice that you now have an option to select None as your payment method. Choose that and continue filling up the form till you’re done creating your account.
Now you can enjoy downloading free music (if you registered using a US address) and free apps with your iPod Touch.

Payment Method “None” is an OLD STORY
ok.. but when i do set up an account without a credit card.. am i still going to get billed.. or will i never have to pay for the things i bought on itunes.
There’s no way they can bill you if they don’t know your credit card. You can’t buy anything that costs more than $0 though unless you have a gift card.

hmm i don’t really know. the instructions i posted are pretty simple. maybe it’s been changed in the new iTunes?
