47-year old, Susan Boyle is going to win BGT 2009
Just a week into the auditions for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, I already got my bet on who’s going to win it.
It has to be 47-year old Susan Boyle. An unemployed, unassuming, cheery lady whose dream is to be a successful singer and perform in front of a large audience.
You gotta check out her audition as she sings “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Miserables” and shocks everyone including judge, Simon Cowell.
Amazing huh? It’s hard to imagine that angelic voice coming from her. Simon was grinning like a kid opening gifts on Christmas Day as he watches her sing. I couldn’t even stop watching the video just once.
We have a Paul Potts in the making here in this year’s BGT. I can’t wait for her next performance on the semi-finals and I hope this is not her best song. I hope she does more musicals like maybe Miss Saigon.
Woot! BGT time again.
Thanks Aline for the heads up on this.
