American Idol 8 Top 5 Results

Something I would never expect happened tonight. I’m not gonna dawdle on the side performances and head straight into the results.

All five contestants were called to stand up at the center of the stage. Ryan first chatted with Matt Giraud then asked him to stand aside.

Ryan turned to Danny Gokey next who got me confused with his ramblings then asked him to stand on the other side of the stage..

Next up is Allison Iraheta, and she was asked to stand beside Danny. Hmm, me thinks Allison is safe at this point.

Kris Allen is next and was asked to stand beside Matt. Whaatt? So is this the safe group?

Adam at the bottom 3?

Ok let’s pause and think for a minute.

Since Adam’s the only one left, we know that he’s at the bottom 3 which is a surprise. Unless they remove the bottom 3 for the Top 5. Anyway, it’s up to Adam to help us determine which group is safe and which group is not. And the other four knows it.

So Ryan called Adam and asked him which group he thinks he belong. He says he loves everybody and can’t believe why Ryan asked him that. Adam says that based on last night, he thinks he’s gonna be with Danny and Allison.

The bottom 3

Ryan says that Allison and Danny are not the bottom 3 and motioned Adam to Kris and Matt’s group which is the bottom 3. Kara’s jaw dropped. Everybody’s stumped especially Allison and Danny who looked at each other in surprise.

Paula says it’s crazy. Simon admitted making some bad calls last night with regards to Allison and Kris’ performance.

So who’s out?

I won’t make this go on any longer since it’s no surprise now. Among the bottom 3, Matt Giraud is the weakest and America knows it.

Matt Giraud is out

Top 4 is gonna be tough with Allison being the weakest but she’s gonna be on her element with Rock and Roll night.

Rock and roll will be Adam’s element also. And I’m thinking a Queen song for him.

calvin: right! Queen would be nice but I hope he would do a unique arrangement.

Di ako nanonood ng AI ngayong season pero I like Allison. Hehe.

Methinks the top 3 will be kris, allison and danny.

calvin: wahh talaga? feeling ko kris, danny and adam. sa kanilang 4 feeling ko si allison yung pinaka-unpopular.

i was also shocked na bottom 3 si adam. but then again we never knew who was always leading the votes which looks like it really is danny not adam. by the way side question lang… the other day, i went to your blog, lahat ng links error.. page not found. i was wondering if it’s the same thing that happened to me with the permalinks. did you by any chance install frontpage server extensions on your account? kasi i noticed ayos na ngayon. i really hate godaddy. sorry for the rant. kasi up to now, sira ang frontpage ko. and all i get from them when i call is “we don’t know how to fix it”. grabe nangigigil ako sa inis!!! argh

calvin: nope, i had problems with my wp_options table. nag-crash sya so I had to repair it. I’m still figuring out what’s causing it kasi twice na nangyari. i didn’t install any of frontpage extension and matagal nang naka-set yung permalinks ko. it just happened.

Im not an avid viewer of AI but I get to watch once in awhile. My choices were Matt, Allison and Kris Allen. Kris is really talented with his arrangements palang and the way he plays his instruments. Matt’s rendition and style is classy. Allison’s vocals really struck me. With Matt being out of the competition I think Allison has the chance to be in the finals, as I’ve seen in the results last week, it seemed that the voters of (was it Anoop?) went on voting Allison that’s why she’s in the top 2. I’m not sure about Matt’s voters but, I’d like to see Allison and Kris in the top 2, which is quite impossible with the turnout of votes for Gokey. Sorry but Gokey’s becoming a bore to me.. and Adam seems a little bit noisy for me.. Well that’s just me.. Sorry mukhang naki-blog na ko dito.. hehe!!
