Convert post to page in WordPress and vice-versa
Posted on April 28th, 2009 by Calvin
Some time ago when my blog’s SQL database got corrupted, all its pages turned into posts after I repaired my DB. There’s no built-in function in WordPress to turn posts to pages and I don’t want to do it manually in MySQL.
I searched the internet for an easier method and found this little plug-in called p2pConverter. This small plugin will place a button to convert your posts to pages and vice versa.
It’s that simple and yet so effective. You may have plenty of static pages that you want to convert into posts and this is the easiest way to do it.
Now only thing left for me to do is figure out what caused my database to be corrupted.

Nice you found a plugin. I will take not of that. I had that same question when I moved my Lady Programmer to wordpress. Sana nalaman ko ang plugin na ito, ang ginawa ko is to really apply some SQL statements in the database.
calvin: hehe buti na lang tamad ako kaya ko ito nakita.
Nice – I was just trying to figure how to easily tweak my static pages and convert them to posts.
Much appreciated.
calvin: yup this plugin make things easier than manually tweaking your SQL tables.
Thank you for this. I’ve thought about converting some of my pages into post so they’ll get more “exposure” and then convert them back again…and I didn’t know if it was possible. I’m glad to know it is.
Hi All,
Man you are a complete life saver. This plug in is awesome, i cant believe i considered doing this manually…
Don’t thank me guys. Thank the guy who did the plug-in. I’m just sharing it that’s all.
