Brand new Nintendo DS is full of stones

What would you do if you received a brand new, sealed Nintendo DS as a present; but when you open it up all you get is a pile of stones?

nintendo_dsi_rocks_300x191 Incidentally, that’s what happened to Jodi Wykle’s son when he opened the Nintendo DS he received for his birthday. All he got was a bunch of stones wrapped in Chinese newspaper instead of the DS.

Sucks huh? The mom from Florida was stunned and called the local Wal-Mart where she bought the unit to complain. However, Wal-Mart said it wasn’t their problem that she was able to buy a $138 box of rocks. They said that they didn’t know how it ended up on their shelves.

“They don’t want to do nothing. They want me to keep the box of rocks. I’m not buying a box of rocks for $138,” she said.

Well it seems that Wal-Mart learned that they had a similar case before when a disgruntled customer returned a Nintendo DS box filled with stones. For her troubles, Wykle was given a full refund and a $20 gift card.

Hahaha. Just funny stuff I saw in the news. But would it suck more if you bought an Xbox and when you opened it all you get is an XRocks?

whoa! really? but how can the customer prove na it was really that way when they bought it di ba? i mean, they could have just made up the story. they should have checked the box when they bought it! hehehe.

calvin: hehe i think that’s the defense of Walmart.
