Greg Pritchard, Britain’s Got Talent’s Adam Lambert?
Greg Pritchard is a 24-year old hotel waiter who auditioned in this year’s BGT’s and is compared to American Idol’s Adam Lambert at first glance. He got the emo-rocker image going on complete with the hairdo, rings, leather jacket and guyliner.
But does he have the vocal range of Adam? You bet! He sang the popular “Nessur Dorma” which was also season one’s Paul Pott’s audition piece. But instead of a tenor like Potts, he sang it with a soprano. Whaatt??
Check out his audition.
Top that Adam. When the first note left his mouth, the judges and audience were baffled. You could see Simon and Amanda’s mouths hang open with unbelief. Who would’ve expected that? A male soprano?
“That shouldn’t have happened. It’s like a dog meowing.”, says a puzzled Simon.
Hahaha! The whole audition was pretty entertaining but now that the initial shock has worn out, I doubt if he can advance after the next round.
