Julian Smith, a saxophonist in Britain’s Got Talent Finals
Julian Smith deserved to be in the finals of Britain’s Got Talent after he delivered one of the most moving saxophone performance I’ve ever heard. He was the top vote-getter in his group on the 4th day of the semi-final round after delivering a brilliant version of Eric Carmen’s All By Myself.

Piers thinks he has a chance to win it all with his saxophone. Amanda got her emotions stirred with his beautiful performance and Simon actually liked the guy for being ambitious but humble.
The saxophonist teacher was not talked about too much but he’s one of the favorites to reach the finals after he blew away the judges during his audition a few weeks ago that left Amanda in tears. He can actually be the next Kenny G.
Joining Julian Smith are the grandfather-granddaughter duet aptly called, 2 Grand. They sang a duet of Somewhere Out There which was not really that impressive but it’s their sincere relationship that brought them to the next round and brought Amanda to tears.
Who’s not advancing
It was 12-year old, future West-Ender Callum Francis that got the short end of the stick after being voted off in favor of 2 Grand. He was not that great though with his Jungle Book performance as Mowgli. I was not impressed with his singing and that cheeky grin is quite irritating for me. Hehehe.
Although the judges loved his act, I think they’re reserving the kids’ spot of the competition to 11-year old Aidan Davis and/or 10-year old Hollie Steel who’s yet to perform tomorrow.
