Shaun Smith might be the one to top Susan Boyle in BGT
In the 2nd day of the semi-final round, it was 17-year old Shaun Smith who shone with his terrific rendition of U2’s With Or Without You. He has this smooth voice that is very pleasing to the ears and the girls clearly adore his voice and his looks.
Amanda who seems to have a crush on him already says he was absolutely brilliant and that Susan Boyle now has got big competition. Simon says it was a million times better than anything they’ve heard so far.
Also making it to the finals is another dance group called Flawless. Their dance routine was performed with military precision and they looked really sharp. They’re really good but I enjoyed Diversity more who performed yesterday.
Who’s not advancing?
Remember Jamie Pugh? The pizza delivery guy with the big case of the jitters during his audition? Well he didn’t make it to the next round after singing The Impossible Dream. His voice was shaky, out of tune at some parts and was a disaster overall. It was so bad that the usually good-hearted Amanda buzzed him prematurely.
Other amusing performances that had no chance of advancing is Peter Coghlan, the chubby drag queen dancing to the tune of Beyonce’s Single Ladies and the ventriloquist Gareth Oliver.
This second group is not a tough one to judge. Maybe they’re clearing the way for Shaun to reach the finals.

He’s got good looks and great voice too!
calvin: pwede nang pampelikula. yung tipong taga-probinsya tapos mag-aaral sa high-end music school at makikita at magkakagusto sa isang babae. Miley Cyrus or Hillary Duff pwede hehehe.
oohh.. i like him! soothing ang voice niya.. pang-ballad.. pero kung maka-perform si Susan Boyle with something better than her I Dreamed A Dream, she has a chance.
