How much could you earn from paid posting?
I know a lot of my blogger friends first start earning money from paid posting or what is also called sponsored posts. Bloggers receive assignments from advertisers to write something about their product, site or whatever. 
Payment usually starts out from $3 to $15 per post which usually requires an average of 200 words. Sounds easy? Not if the assignment is boring or if it doesn’t fit your blog.
However, plenty of people could really earn lots of money from doing paid posts. For a high page-ranked blog, some posts are worth $30 to $50.
So how about me? Not so much success with paid posts. Here’s a breakdown of my meager earnings from different paid posts services.
1. SponsoredReviews.com - $58.18 (3 posts)
Some prices on SponsoredReviews is high, like $30 or $50, but you have to bid for it and SR will have a commission from it. I haven’t had any much luck with my bids here these days and the last post I did was January this year.
2. PayPerPost – $128.50 (13 posts)
You would really envy the top earners who have already earned thousands of dollars. This is a nice start for those who want to do paid posting. The first assignment available to you will net you $20. Lots of opportunities for PR3 and up blogs.
3. SocialSpark – $195.80 (31 posts)
This is the younger (and newer) sibling of PayPerPost. It is hard to get opportunities here these days unless you’re living in the US but it was a great source of online income when it was first launched last year. You also need to earn a total minimum of $20 to cash out.
4. Blogsvertise – $106 (12 posts)
If you look at Blogsvertise web site, it’s pretty unprofessional looking. But don’t let that fool you, I started earning from this site only last March so it’s still going strong. The least amount of payment that I received is $7.50. Opportunities that you can take are sent to your e-mail so no need to check on the site every time.
It’s not much but it’s more than enough to pay for the upkeep of my blog. I was able to buy a netbook from my earnings as well.
Tips before you start with Paid Posting
- Get your own domain name. You will find it easier to get opportunities when you have own domain name
- Make sure you can add tracking scripts to your site. This is usually a requirement. Sorry WordPress.com users.
- Don’t neglect your page rank. Alternate paid posts with your real posts and try to attract visitors. This will give you better and higher paying opportunities.
- Get a Paypal account.
So if you’re planning to earn some spare cash online, doing paid posting is a viable option. Don’t let my measly earnings disappoint you. I’m very choosy when it comes to doing opportunities. Besides, one post a month is usually enough to support payment for your site.
If you don’t want to mess up your personal blog with unnecessary posts from doing these sort of things, buy another domain and set up a free Blogger account like I did with Pinoy Web Surfer.

haven’t really tried posting for pay. not even sure if i will. but if ever i do, at least i know who to ask.

also a good site to earn extra moolah. 5usd per link is not that bad, right?
calvin: ahhh… like TextlinkAds. Kamusta naman PageRank nya? $5 for how long yun? permanently? 1 year? i heard kasi google will penalize you more for text links than paid posts. if google does then $5 is a small amount to sacrifice your pagerank.

Im confused lang. you mentioned before that you’re not doing paid post for a long time. you made the statement after your pagerank went down to 2 from 3. you made a post on that i think 3 months ago. tapos itong post mo na ito ay opposite what you have written there. though i suspected na marami pa rin sa article mo ang post-paid, sa blog mo pa rin na ito publish mo yung mga article na paid? just curious

Pero i havent done any paid posts dito sa blog for a long time na. siguro last is early last year pa. lahat ng paid post ko ngayon is located at pinoy web surfer which i made for paid posting talaga
. if ever may gustong magsponsor ng post dito sa calvin’s hub i only accept yung mga high-paying ones ($25 and up).
one that paid me, even with super konting traffic sa site ko before, was blogtoprofit. They gave me 3 assignments. kaso super cheap. It was fun for me, kasi super little effort, I got paid. I was talking about something else and pwede silang isingit.
calvin: I think ok naman price ng blogtoprofit. P375 (around $7) then 150 words lang. haven’t gotten any assignments from them though, 1 pa lang kaya hindi ko sinama.

I’ve been looking at some opportunities to earn from the web also coz my traffic is not significant enough to earn from adsense. I’ve been doing PTC for a week pa lang pero I find it really boring. So, thanks for sharing these.
yeah, pay per post is a good way to start earning right away when traffic is low. just have a nice page rank and you’re all set.
