What happened to Globe’s network today?
Earlier this afternoon a lot of my officemates including me experienced loss of signal on our Globe-powered mobile phones. We’re located here in Makati so I don’t know if other areas are also affected.
What happened? Care to speculate?
Globe decided to bend over and shut its services down conceding to Smart and Sun? Nah.- An irate customer who cannot find a Globe technical support that makes sense crashed his car onto a Globe tower? Maybe.
- An extraterrestrial who got robbed off his P20 load fired an EMP wave blanketing Makati thereby blocking all of Globe’s signal? Bingo!
Whatever it is, everything went back to normal after an hour I think. But this is really bad for Globe’s already spotty reputation.
Imagine if a wife cannot contact his husband who’s stuck in traffic and already an hour late for an anniversary dinner. Because of Globe’s network a marriage can abruptly end.
How about if a person cannot contact his stock broker when he really wanted to sell his stocks before its value plummets down. By the time he got hold of him after an hour his thousands of 10-dollar shares went down to just $0.20. Headline the following day: Man kills himself due to Globe network crashing.
Hahaha. What an imagination and a senseless post at that. I’m not really against Globe because I seldom encounter any problems with them. But boy do they really have poor customer support.

just saw in the news about the senate hearing regarding telcos poor service like lost of load due to unwanted subscription to different services. hope something good will come out of it.

hmmmm… thats weird…. i think… some weird thing happened last Tuesday.. ….. hindi lang cellphone signal mo ang nawala….
kasi…. nag fluctuate yung TV namen…like nawala yung cable … then nawala yung ABS-CBN program….. and nawalan ako ng DSL connection.
