I’m so excited. If everything will turn out as planned, I will be getting our new digital camera today. The Panasonic Lumix ZS1 (or also known as TZ6).

If you’ve been following my blog, a few weeks back I was contemplating on what camera to get. Because of a convincing rationalization from Troy, I decided on the Panasonic in favor of the Samsung.

Actually, it’s this article from dpreview.com comparing different compact superzoom cameras of today that sealed the deal for me. And the mere fact that Costco had a $50 off for the ZS1that I asked my dad to buy it from the store for me.

The total amount of the ZS1 including tax reached $259 which is almost the same price had I bought it today. But my dad bought it weeks ago and asked a family friend who was on his way here to bring it along.

And today is the day that I will get my hands on my Lumix. Can’t wait!
