Here’s a hi-tech measuring cup conceptualized and designed by Yanko Design. The SmartMeasure Cup has an LCD display on its angled handle that will tell you precise measurement of the content. No more hunching down to see the measurement on its side.

There’s a weigh scale at the bottom that does all the calculations. You can also save pre-set measurements in its system so you don’t have to go over your recipe books any more.

Leading kitchenware maker, Taylor, will be manufacturing and selling this measuring cup this fall.

Here’s the thing. Since it uses a scale, cup measurement for liquids heavier than water won’t be that accurate.

If you’re having a hard time reading measurements because the numbers are printed on the side, why not buy something like this:

I would think that this Oxo Good Grips 2-Cup Angled Measuring Cup would be cheaper and works just as well than the SmartMeasure Cup.
