King of the Road Marathon brings you adidas discounts

I always wanted to join a marathon or a race but never got myself to joining one. I also am contemplating on having my own customized adidas to replace my rubber shoes with its already-peeling sole.

Anyway, October’s seems like a good month to run and not only that, early registrants to those joining the KOTR can get a 50% off on their mi adidas. KOTR and adidasKing of the Road Marathon will be held on October 25, 2009 in Fort Bonifacio Global City. You can choose between 5K, 10K or the 21K.

There’s a Php500 registration fee which already includes your singlet and entrance to the Running Expo and Carboloading Party at SM Megatrade Hall on Oct. 17-18.

Registration starts on September 21 until October 18 and can be done at:

  • adidas Branches (Greenbelt 3, Trinoma, Megamall, Podium, Rockwell, Mall of Asia, Katipunan)
  • RUNNR in Bonfacio High Street
  • Planet Sports Branches (Rockwell, Greenhills, Glorietta, & Trinoma)

For newbie runners like me, you can go to FREE Running Clinics by renowned tri-athlete Ani De Leon. Schedule of clinics will be every Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-6 PM at ULTRA.

Once registered, e-mail adidas_kingoftheroad_2k9@yahoo.com your full contact details and indicate if you’re first-time runner to schedule your running clinic date since only 10 students per schedule can be accommodated.

Discount by adidas

In partnership with the marathon, adidas is offering a 25% discount off purchases of running tops and bottoms to those who register at an adidas branch (Greenbelt 3, Trinoma, Megamall, Podium, Rockwell, Mall of Asia, Katipunan).

My would-be customized Barricade V

For the first 100 registrants at Greenbelt 3 (50) and Trinoma (50), they can avail of a 50% discount for mi adidas shoes. That’s the customized design that I would want to get.

So who’s joining the run?
