Photos of Metro Manila flooding due to Typhoon Ondoy
When Typhoon Ondoy arrived in Metro Manila, nobody thought the extent of damage it would cause to the city. It rained the whole day starting last night and in a span of 6 hours, the rainfall amounted to what a typical month could bring.

A lot of motorist got stranded as NLEX and SLEX became virtually impassible. MRT and LRT will open for 24 hours but are jampacked as they are the only reliable form of transportation. Worst hit areas are Marikina, Quezon City, Antipolo and Pasig.
Here are some photos I collected from different online social networking sites (YouTube, Facebook, forums, etc.).
Pretty bad huh? Outside our place it was knee deep but fortunately, we’re on elevated ground and it didn’t reach that high. We are thankful too that there was no power or water or internet interruption in our place (only cable).
Let’s continue to pray for those who are in need of rescuing, those who are still stranded on the road and those who have lost their homes.
The photos are not mine and I don’t claim ownership to them. More photos can be found in this Ondoy Tumblr site.
