Back from Subic with a camera in tow

I’m back from the 1-day Olympus Tough Shot media event in Subic. Really enjoyed the tree-top adventure and the dolphin interaction. It was sponsored by Olympus and we get to try out their latest tough cameras, Tough 8000 and Tough 6000.

I don’t have the photos that we took yet so I’ll just leave this one out here.

Olympus µ1050SW

Yep, Abe and I won an Olympus µ1050 SW each when they chose the photo of me hanging like Spider-man. The µ1050SW is 10mp camera that is waterproof up to 10 ft (3m), shockproof to 5 ft (1.5m) and freezeproof to -10°C.

Woohoo. Now I have a compact camera for our whitewater rafting trip and I can now also bring a camera safely in the middle of the sea instead of shooting from the shore. Oh, I also don’t have to worry about dropping it from a table like what happened with my Nikon in Boracay. Hehehe.

I’ll keep you guys posted when I get our photos. Thanks Olympus and Nancy Harel & Associates for setting up the event.
