Pinoy Big Brother Double Up’s sick tasks
Not that I was anticipating Pinoy Big Brother every night but the TV was tuned in last Saturday when they introduced more housemates. With the new housemates, Big Brother also assigned crazy, sick tasks to some of them.
Pretend to be Husband and Wife
On the left is Patrick, a banker from Baguio. He’s married with two kids and his story is that he was caught cheating by his wife. However, they still decided to stick together for the sake of their children.
On the right is Kath who’s a Filipino print model residing in Spain. She’s married to a Filipino guy and they have a kid of their own. Her story? She had to endure a lot of downs in her relationship with her husband especially his infidelity.
The task?
Patrick and Kath must pretend to be husband and wife inside the house for a while.
So what’s wrong with it?
Meet Jim. He’s the cheating husband of Kath and he’s also inside Big Brother’s House. Hahaha. I’m sure he would get jealous when Patrick and Kath tells “their love story” to the other housemates.
Pretend to be an item
On the left is Rob, a thin version of Nino Mulach from Austria who’s a certified ladies man. When her Austrian girlfriend of 4 years broke up with him, it gave rise to insecurities and issues on his self-worth.
On the left is Rica, the math goddess from Bacolod. She has a falling out with her dad so she finished her studies in Manila where she graduated BS Math from Ateneo.
The task?
Big Brother asks both to pretend to be a couple. They should have a story and must learn as much as they can about one another.
So what’s wrong with it?
If you’re from Ateneo then Rica might be familiar to you. Actually, her real name is Richard and the reason her relationship with her dad is strained is because she was a he before she started taking hormone pills. Yup, Rob will pretend to be the boyfriend of a she-male.
It’s nothing compared to what the husband and wife will have to go through. It all boils down to how Rob will handle the task especially after it is finished.
I don’t know if this would boost Pinoy Big Brother’s viewership but it’s sure going to be crazy inside the house in the following week. Are you following PBB?

But I don’t get it why you consider the Rob-Rica tandem sick? Is it because Rica is a transvestite (or transgender, idk, i don’t watch PBB). and she/he is paired with a straight guy? Or is it sick because you’re a homophobe? Just asking.
it’s because Rob didn’t know that Rica’s really a “he” when they were given that task. so yeah it would be crazy for Rob if he finds out. sorry if the “sick” is a bit off, i was thinking of choosing between sick and crazy for the post title. and no, got no problems with gays. wag lang yung mga maharot. hehe.
I’m really sure you’re not watching the show since it started so better not conclude. Alam ni Rob na transvestite sya at sinabi nya ang limitations nya sa task na yan, which is no tongue kissing.

Sumali sila sa PBB na alam nila na maraming ganyang tasks. Every tasks has its own lesson for the contestants and watchers to learn. They’re not doing that just to boost ratings. Yun na talaga ang PBB dati pa. Tingin ko di mo alam kse di ka naman talaga nanonood.
Nag-aaway na sila Jim and Kat. Doon sa “supposed-to-be anniversary” nila Kat and Patrick. Si Jim pa yung ginawang server and pinag-speech pa sya wishing the “supposed-to-be” couple well. kawawa naman.
I’ve been following PBB kaya alam ko ang story. Si JIm ang mismong nagvolunteer na maging waiter. Alam naman nya na task yan. Wala lang syang tiwala sa partner nya. That i guess is one of THE lessons.
last night nung patapos na mukhang nag-quit na rin si jim ah. can’t blame him. sobra na talagang maka-test ng relationship yung tasks nila.
I think it’s not about boosting a show’s rating… they auditioned for it meaning they’re ready to take the risk. I think it’s just a test on their relationship if ever. Also it’s saddening to see people tagging Rica and Rob’s task as sick when they’re just two normal people doing a challenge. It’s just a homophobic comment.
Tactics now are quite crazy for hte sake of ratings. Anyways, not my cup of tea unless juicy scenes are shown
