For our trip to China, my sister warned us not to wear those climacool sneakers that is common here in the Philippines. Since my wife doesn’t have any shoe for cold climate, I decided to get her something weatherproof yet comfortable enough to wear for a whole day.

She found this low-cut winter hiking shoe (Bugabutte) from Columbia Sportswear that has nothing but good reviews but we couldn’t find it here in the Philippines. Fortunately, we have a friend who had somebody going home from the US in a few days.

The only problem now is to find an online shop which offers speedy delivery at a low cost.

Enter Amazon’s online bag and shoe store, Endless.com. They have the shoe that we want and not only that but they also offer overnight shipping in the US at no extra cost. I quickly ordered it and sure enough, it was delivered in just a day just in time for it to be brought here.

We got the shoe and my wife is very happy with it.

It is very comfortable. It feels like always having a carpet under your feet. I can wear this for a long time while keeping my feet warm. – Tia

The Columbia Sportswear Women’s Bugabutte Winter Hiking Shoe:

• It is waterproof yet breathable. Keeps snow from getting in but still allows moisture to move away from the skin
• Its contoured footbeds is very comfortable to walk or stand on for long periods of time. It’s fleece lining inside keeps the feet cozily warm.
• The treads in its sole is very good for rough trails or slippery surfaces
• The best of all is that it is very light for such a weatherproof shoe

It was a really good buy for $85 and my wife can still wear it during outdoor activities while keeping her feet comfortable. I would prefer to get her some Uggs but the Bugabutte seems to be a better fit. Columbia Sportswear did a really good job!
