We’re off to China
Posted on November 29th, 2009 by Calvin
It’s time for the vacation that we’ve been waiting for. My wife and I always travel near the end of November to celebrate our anniversary and we bought our tickets to Beijing since the 2nd quarter of this year so we’re pretty much excited.
As usual, expect a travelogue of our trip when we return. I’ll take lots of photos.
In the meantime,
- I probably won’t be posting from China so I scheduled some posts for you to munch on while I’m away
- I’ll be checking my blog when I can find time so expect delays for comment replies.
- Oh yeah, I heard Facebook is banned in China. Yuck!
Aside from Beijing, we’ll be visiting two other beautiful provinces. Actually, we’ll be riding a sleeper train tonight to one of the provinces we’re visiting. Nice! Can’t wait to try out our winter gear and see some snow and frozen lakes.
See you guys soon!

Have a safe trip and enjoy China!
Grabe ang ginaw sobra. Sayang di blue yung sky kaya di masyadong maganda mga kuha. Konti pa naman turista. Be back in a few days.
I’ve been into China before and yeah Facebook is blocked and even the Multiply site. Don’t know the reason why.
facebook, twitter, multiply and all blog sites are banned in china. The chinese government did it so as to avoid people from planning and staging rallies and revolts against the government.
