My Rockport Hanick is ready for the cold weather

Since we will be doing a lot of walking on our trip to China, I need a nice comfy shoe that is also suitable for cold weather. The most comfortable pair of shoes that I have is my adidas running shoes which will give my toes frostbite if I wear it during winter in China.Rockport Hanick

I was looking at Columbia Sportswear and North Face but I didn’t like their styles. They’re too rugged and outdoorsy and I don’t want to get boots either. So I turned to the other brand that I really like, Rockport, and here’s what I found.

The Rockport Hanick is a shoe that is made for all-day walking and can still give your feet protection from the elements. It’s part of their Weather Hill Collection with waterproof construction so I could kick some snow with it. Hehehe.

When I tried it on, I can’t believe how comfy it is. It’s like walking on carpet. I think their dynamic suspension technology has something to do with it! I really love Rockport (they’re my choice of office shoes) for the comfort their shoes provide and durability. Not to mention needing little to no maintenance.

The fit is wide so your feet can have thick or multiple socks but sill have room to breathe. It’s sole provides nice traction for rocky or slippery surfaces.

It’s not that light as I want it to be but another thing that I liked about it is its lace system. It’s so easy to tighten and loosen the shoe which is perfect if you travel a lot by plane.

Somehow, we got it cheaper at the malls (Php4626)  than online ($110).

Thank you hon for the early birthday gift. Hehehe. I think I’m amassing a lot of shoes now for a guy.
