Watch out for Andrew Garcia on American Idol 9
First of all, for those who are wondering if Andrew Garcia is Filipino or Fil-Am, he’s not although he’s married to a Filipina. Andrew also has a lot of friends who are Filipino online artists such as AJ Rafael and Gabe Bondoc so people think that he’s also one.
Now check out his audition in LA where he sang “Sunday Morning”.
Nice huh? Soulful and controlled. He reminds me of Danny Gokey from last season but with a much smoother voice. I believe he’s good with the guitars as well based on his Youtube videos which are now removed meaning he made it to the top 24.
Andrew already has a strong following online being a member of the Adrian William Project and good friends with other Youtube sensations like AJ, Gabe, JR, Cathy Nguyen, Derek Portea, etc.
He’s going to be the one I will be rooting for this season. Nice guy. Nice voice and I think he deserves to win.
I think Pinoys should support for him as well. Andrew participated in different fundraising events last year for the benefit of the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. Go Andrew!
