You might be wondering what’s with the title but those are the prize of two out-of-this-world online contests that I recently came across with.

AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS

This contest is sponsored by LG Electronics celebrating the launch of their Borderless LCD TVs.

All you need to do is tell in video or in words (maximum of 300) how you will live borderless if given the chance to travel the world in 80 days. Register at the site and submit your entry.

Deadline of submission is on Feb. 28. This contest is open to all countries with Philippines having the 3rd most number of entries as of this moment.

Prize: One winner will be chosen to travel around the world in 80 days business class with a USD100,000 pocket money.

TRIP TO THE EDGE OF SPACE

This contest is from Intel and their new 2010 Intel Core processors with Turbo Boost technology.

You can join once you purchase a 2010 Intel Core processor or a desktop/laptop powered by the new processor. Head to the contest site and answer the question, How will a trip to the edge of Space change your life? in 25 words or less.

This contest closes on April 15 and is only open to people residing in Australia & NZ, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and the Philippines.

Prize: The winner will get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to fly to the edge of space in a Russian MIG-31 Fighter Jet for the ultimate adrenaline rush.

Mmmm. I want to win both contests especially the trip to space. The LG one is the easiest to join but the Intel one gives you a higher chances of winning being open to only a handful of countries.
