American Idol 9 Top 16 Results, Final 12 Revealed
This is the day where we’ll find out who will be the Final 12 contestants for American Idol 9. I’ve seen the result and I was really surprised with it, especially for the girls. I was dead wrong on who will be going home from the girls but I don’t think anybody saw this coming.
Ok let’s get on with the show. The group started out with their rendition of Michael Buble’s I Haven’t Met You Yet which was pretty bad, their performance I mean.
Next week’s theme was announced, take note it’s music by the Rolling Stones.
Girls are up. Didi is safe and she’s in the top 12. Siobhan’s next and obviously she has to be safe, she is. It’s down to Paige Miles and Katelyn Epperly. I predicted Paige will go but she’s in and Katelyn Epperly is out! Ack!! I’m not complaining though.
The boys are next. Cougar-bait Case James is safe and so is Tim Urban after his wonderful performance this week. It’s between Lee Dewyze and Todrick Hall. Todrick Hall’s going home. Got that one right.
After duet by Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud singing Billy Joel’s Tell Her About It, it’s time to find out the remaining idols to join the Top 12.
Crystal was called first and she is nice and safe. So’s Michael Lynche. Next up is Lacey Brown and she’s also in! Wow. Not even at the bottom spot but I’m happy for her. Aaron Kelly is called and the kid’s made it in as well.
Andrew Garcia and Alex Lambert were called next. Uh-oh. Both guys deserve another chance and I’m still hoping that Andrew can turn it around. Simon says Andrew peaked too soon but he’s safe and Alex Lambert is out!
Finally, it’s between Katie Stevens and Lilly Scott. Katie’s just a pretty face compared to the girls and I predicted that she would be cut. I love Lilly and her quirky, unique voice but unfortunately, not a lot of fans do so Lilly Scott’s out. Aarrghh!!

it’s unfair that lily scott was booted out. she is one of the girls that I’m excited to watch what she will bring to the stage. boo for katie stevens. unfair! unfair! unfair!
