Calvin’s Hub

For a lot of people, Holy Week is a time of penitence, a time to relax at home with loved ones. For some people, Holy Week is one of the only times in a year that they can take a long vacation during summer.

My wife and I will be spending our Holy Week in Cebu, my dad’s province, again like last year. In Kawit, Medellin to be exact where our family has a cozy resthouse to relax, enjoy the beach, eat fresh seafood and the customary Cebu lechon on Resurrection Sunday.

I was not impressed with the photos I took last year. This time however, I am armed with my new Panasonic Lumix LX3 which should be etter than our old Nikon Coolpix S10 that we brought last year.

Starting Thursday, Calvin’s Hub will be running on scheduled posts. I’ll be back two days after Holy Week but will have some sort of access to the internet during our vacation, if signal permits.
