PGT’s Josephine Aton, big girl with the big voice
Here’s another strong contender for the first Pilipinas Got Talent. Josephine Aton is a single mom from Cebu City who just accompanied her daughter to audition. The talent scouts probably saw her sing and asked her to audition as well.
Here’s her singing I Believe by Fantasia Barrino while seeking for his father’s approval:
I was surprised when she started hitting those early big notes. The way she speaks doesn’t match the way she sings. Although she didn’t hit those high notes as we want to, with a little more practice she can give 16-year old Jovit Baldivino real competition. Later on she admitted that she got too emotional during her performance that’s why she messed up a bit.
Can’t wait to see you on the next round Josephine. Ai-ai was correct, her voice fits the international scene already.
