I don’t know what got into me but I was wondering if I can make a compilation of wedding proposals captured on video or made in public. Forget about your usual flowers and candlelit dinners and speeches. No billboard proposals here as well. You have to tip your hats off to these guys.

Nature Valley Run Proposal

There was a wedding proposal two Sundays ago during the Nature Valley Run. The couple did a 10k and the guy went ahead and waited at the finish line for his girlfriend with a “Will You Marry Me” sign. I was there but I didn’t witness the event. Hehehe. Congrats Bryan!

Plane Ride Proposal

Pretty simple here but you can see the surprise in the face of the girl. And how happy she was afterwards. Don’t mind the cheesy song. You can never go wrong proposing high up in the air. Doing it in a hot air balloon is more romantic though. You can have friends as witness and to capture the moment.

Proposal In A Game Show

Ahh it’s nice if you have connections to a game show. The girl was a contestant at Wayne Brady’s “Don’t Forget The Lyrics” and the guy had the board rigged with the question. Check out her reaction. Hahaha. Good thing she didn’t run.

Proposal At The Airport

An old video showing a simple but novel idea. A Navy Officer asks each of his fellow passengers to hand out a rose to his girlfriend who will be waiting for him at the airport. Who can say “no” right?

Dancing At The Park Proposal

This is a new one and the guy got guts proposing in public at Madison Square Park. He practiced this whole dance routine and looks Napoleon Dynamite-silly doing it. It’s sweet though. It looks like a scene from 500 Days of Summer or Enchanted.

Disneyland Proposal

This is still the best wedding proposal in my opinion. There are lots of Disneyland proposals out there but this one takes the cake. The guy worked at Disneyland and got approval to do a wedding proposal number at Main Street with the other performers. Check out the reactions of the audience. Nice!
