Celebrate DC Comics’ 75th Anniversary at SM Megamall
DC Comics fans will be flocking to SM Megamall this June 19 and 20 to celebrate 75 years of Superman, Batman and other DC Superheroes. It also falls on Father’s Day so dads and kids can enjoy their time together in the celebration.
DC Comics 75th Year Power Up! Super Heroes Challenge
There will be an activity camp the SM Megamall Events Center (Bldg A) which will feature extreme outdoor activities that will be set up indoors. Bring out the superhero in you or your kid through activities such as the Tyrolean Traverse, Two-Line Tight Rope, and the Zip Line. Don’t worry, organizers reckon that it’ll be safe.
To go through the course at the activity camp, you will be needing a DC Comics 75th Year bag tag which you can get by buying a PhP500 worth of DC Comics products from the SM Department Store Character Shop and Boys Teens Wear departments.
The camp site will also feature a DC Comics Mini Museum where limited collection toys from, DC Comics, Toy Kingdom, collectors and fans will be on display.
DC Comics 75thAnniversary at the 9th Toy Convention
If extreme activities are not your thing then you may head to the toy convention at the SM Mega Trade Halls 2 and 3 on the same weekend. It’s also a cosplay event so you are encouraged to come in your superhero or comic book character costume.
This year’s Toy Convention will include DC Comics-themed competitions and activities. There will be Filipino comics artists who have rendered work for DC Comics to autograph your DC Comics collectibles.
So DC Comics fans, remember the date. Father’s Day weekend June 19 to 20 at the SM Megamall.

the bag tags is for the entrance to the activity camp sa atrium. pero sa toycon there’s a separate minimal fee para makapasok like the usual toycons.
whole day naman sila. pero syempre mas maganda pumunta sa toycon pagmarami ng cosplayers (bandang hapon/lunch)
