Wag ka masyadong paapekto. i think that’s an important rule in blogging. di mo maiwasang may masabing hindi maganda ang ibang tao. so it’s up to you to ignore or do something about it.

siguro ang pagkakaalam nya purely tech blog ka.

I just felt like I had to defend myself naman. Grabe kasi yung comment. Parang sinasabing masamang tao talaga ako.

On the Naruto part, I write about Naruto because I like Naruto (I’ve been following that series ever since Kishimoto released it) and I have readers who like Naruto. Simply put, I have Naruto on my blog because it makes ME and some of my readers happy. That’s the important thing.

Apparently some bloggers are way TOO obsessed about blog traffic, that when you surpass them, they act as if they’ve lost everything. The worst part is, they will do everything in their power to bring others down. It’s a sad sad thing: CRAB MENTALITY. Yes, it also happens in Philippine blogosphere. These BAD Bloggers act as if they are the only ones who should be on top of traffic lists. Really really sad.

To all aspiring bloggers: Please please avoid doing this. Let’s all lift each other up. Pare-pareho tayong mga Pinoy. There’s no point in pulling each other down. Traffic lang yan. In the end, what matters is the relationship we keep with each other. Let’s help each other be the best we can be.

Oh and I blog about inaugurals pala because TechPinas is a Filipino blog and as a responsible Filipino blogger, I try to write about the Philippines not just from time to time – but all the time. Lest we forget: TechPinas means Technology and Philippines. It’s pretty much self-explanatory.

While I earn from blogging, I also run an events and publishing company — that’s really the venture that feeds me. At the end of the day, when I finally decide to stop blogging, I will have something else to rely on in feeding me and my family. Let’s just say I absolutely won’t kill or ruin the reputation of other bloggers just because I want to be the top tech blogger in the Philippines.

Truth be told, I don’t need to be the most read tech blogger in the Philippines to achieve stability in life. But should I reach that point, I’d consider it an absolute honor, which wouldn’t have been possible without my co-bloggers. Trust that if and when I achieve, I won’t be a BAD and MAYABANG tech blogger like ‘jasmine’.

first of all, i don’t consider them as real blogs because all you do is link to streaming video or manga downloads. that’s what naruto fans are after and will bring you adsense income.

in my article, i don’t focus on adsense earnings but more on the “other” perks that you can get from a your blog.

inaugurations and events? yes it’s ok to WRITE about them but it won’t bring you that huge amount of traffic unless it’s a live streaming of a pacquiao fight, nba games, inauguration, etc. and just like naruto, it’s not really a blog.

this is why i don’t put live streaming videos on my blog any more unless i have really something to say about it. it stains the purity of a real blog which is in essense about writing something personal or with substance.

i’m not against those who do it. in fact these sites have their own purpose. to each his own ika nga but i won’t acknowledge them as real blogs if that’s all that they can show. that’s just my opinion.
