Bagyong Basyang was bad for bloggers

So how did you spend your day in the aftermath of Bagyong Basyang? It left a LOT of houses and offices without electricity for one whole day. Actually, I’m writing this post in Agave at The Fort while my wife is sipping margaritas.

It really sucks having no electricity for a blogger. You can’t blog unless you have a way to get into the internet and that is if your laptop have enough juice left till you reach a power outlet. Even if you were able to blog, your traffic will suffer because a lot of your readers doesn’t have access to the internet. My traffic was worse than what I normally get on a Saturday.

Anyway, having no electricity is a good excuse to take a break from blogging and enjoy time with friends and families. So this is just going to be a short post because I’m enjoying the company of my wife.

So how did you spend your time without electricity?

    How I spent it?

Nakatunganga ako maghapon kahapon. Haha, wala din naman akong magawang solusyon, wala dito sa bahay yung laptop, dead batt pa cellphone ko. Sayang kase magpopost sana ako kaso wala talagang kuryente kahapon. Haha, next time I’ll be ready.

    Aargh. Sobra.

Our house ran out of electricity Tuesday night, right after I got home. Wasn’t able to blog yesterday as well kasi buong araw walang kuryente. Until today wala pa din. I’m hoping that when I get home from work, meron na.

All day yesterday natulog lang ako at nagbasa. Although it was a nice break away from blogging and the internet in general, nakaka-hassle pa din. Wahahaha.

I spent last night na brown out sleeping early.

hazzle nga yung walang kuryente. Lalo pa kung walang tubig!…. My mom sa cavite… wala pa din sila tubig til now….

Luckily, sa haws ko may tubig naman. My phone was charged ok and my ipod and mp3s are ready. I also made it a point that may stock ako ng kandila, flashlight at battery. Hehehe….

although…. i was scared nung night na bumabagyo…. medyo traumatic kasi i keep on thinking about Ondoy. Kaya cguro prepared ako….. because un nga… scaredy ako about the worst. Weird…. kasi facebook and blogging was out of my mind.
