The Ultra Cinema at Newport, Resorts World Manila
Have you been to Resorts World Manila lately? Especially the Newport Mall? It’s a nice place to spend an afternoon because it’s not too crowded thanks to the lack of public vehicles passing by that place. The mall also has some really nice facades inside ideal for taking photos with the family.
We were invited yesterday check out the Newport Ultra Cinema, Newport Mall’s premiere cinema with 80 reclining seats and butler service for your bottomless soda and popcorn. The place has 3 cinemas aside from the Ultra by the way, 2 regular ones, and a 3D cinema.
Unfortunately, the one showing at the Ultra Cinema was Justin Long and Drew Barrymore’s Going the Distance. I would prefer watching Despicable Me even if it’s not in 3D.
Anyway, about the Ultra Cinema. There are 80 fully reclining seats that has a divider per pair so it’s really a movie place for couples. The divider is nice because I hate it if the person next to me keeps on using his cellphone. For Php450 a pop, you will get your choice of bottomless soda and flavored popcorn delivered to you at a press of a button. I just wish that there’s a holder for our popcorn.
If you don’t like what you’re watching, you can recline your seat all the way down and sleep. Hehehe. The movie experience was so so maybe because it’s the kind of flick you wouldn’t want to watch inside a cinema. It would’ve been nice if they also serve iced tea or even just mineral water.
Newport Cinema is located at 4F Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila, Pasay City across NAIA Terminal 3.

how much ticket sa cinema
Ang sosyaaal! Gusto ko tong masubukan kahit isang beses lang dahil medyo mahal for me for a movie experience. So kahit 1 time big time okay na. Hahaha.
Sayang. May extra ticket pa kami that time. Dapat pala ni-meet ka na lang namin to talk about the design job and movie afterwards.

please make water a part of your drink choices
when you are going to purchase tickets in advance make sure that you really are reserved. they have the worst tickets reservation. We reserved and paid for tickets weeks ago only to find out that they sold our paid tickets to someone else. Smart huh?? their excuse, they were not able to read their emails and someone forgot to call the ticket booth? HAH!! stupid!! You should all be fired
